Business Volunteers for the Arts
Business Volunteers for the ArtsĀ® (BVA) is the signature program of the
National Arts & Business Council to provide valuable tools and
skills to mid-size arts groups, who may not have had the benefit of
comprehensive training, and/or whose budget size does not allow for the
hiring of professional consultants. Consulting services are offered in
the areas of strategic planning, marketing, financial management, and
legal among others. BVA Volunteers and selected arts organizations
participate in a non-profit management training program held each year.
Mid-sized, non-profit arts organizations with at least two full time
staff and a working board are eligible to apply. The group must be
based in Miami-Dade.
